Throughout the first week of May, the nation celebrates the unsung heroes of two professions: teachers and nurses. National Nurses’ Week starts on Sunday, May 6, and ends on May 12, the designated date of National Nurses’ Day. The reason that National Nurses’ Day always falls on the same day is that it marks the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern professional nursing. National Teacher Appreciation Week takes place between May 7 and May 11, and National Teacher Day occurs on May 8th. The Trias Flowers & Gifts team is excited to help people in our community find the ideal gifts to honor these underappreciated public servants.
If you’re going to give a floral gift to a nurse or teacher as an expression of gratitude, then it makes sense to go all out. And the Trias Exclusive is a compact, elegant, sophisticated, and all-around gorgeous design. The pastel colors are fitting for spring – even in Miami. You’ll find blue hydrangeas, magnificent pink roses, delicate purple lisianthus, alstroemerias, and vibrant snapdragons. Masangena leaves provide a colorful contrast and accent to this spectacular and visually captivating floral design.
Nurses and teachers are some of the hardest-working and most dedicated professionals there are in our community. Day in and day out, they go to work and carry out their duties, never expecting a reward or compliment. The two professional appreciation week observances coincide, and the talented Trias Flowers & Gifts team encourages our customer base to plan to honor the nurses and teachers whose contributions to the lives of the most cherished people in your life, with the gift of beautiful flowers.
