Let’s face it, those of us in Miami can feel a little left out as we hear of everyone anticipating the fall season. We don’t really experience a decrease in temperatures, nor do we have the opportunity to enjoy the splendor of changing fall foliage. Still, many of us still love to decorate our homes with the colors of autumn – either to remember past years up north, or to simply change up the ambiance a bit. If you are looking to give your home a bit of an autumn air, Trias Flowers has some fall-inspired ideas, which we present to you Florida style!
The colors of autumn are traditionally yellowish gold, red burgundy, and burnt orange. While our friends may be potting mums and asters, we have a different spin on seasonal floral designs.
Red ginger and anthurium provide the warmth, and orange heliconia adds the fire, in our tropical version of an autumn design. Perfect for a front entrance, dining room table, or on the lanai, this is our idea of changing fall colors – and it is gorgeous!
Another one of our favorite fall designs incorporates those same florals, but adds the cozy and friendly yellow of cymbidium orchids. These particular flowers make much more sense in our warm weather Miami homes, while still evoking the autumn colors we all love.
For a truly stylish and elegant fall centerpiece, consider these cymbidium orchids on a bed of hydrangea. We’ve added some curly willow for organic effect, resulting in a perfect south Florida arrangement.
Autumn colors may be universal, but the flowers we use to showcase them are not. In Miami, our autumn season may look and feel a little different, but it is still spectacular and beautiful. Besides, we can celebrate autumn by going to the beach!
Trias Flowers provides the most exquisite flowers for all of Miami and surrounding areas.
