Each year on October 16th, we honor bosses nationwide when we celebrate Bosses Day. Originating in 1958, this special occasion was started when Patricia Bays Haroski noticed that her boss (and father) was working tirelessly behind the scenes to make office life better for his employees. She wanted a day designated for recognizing everything bosses do to help and support their employees, and by 1962, the first Bosses Day was announced. Now we celebrate those awesome bosses who meet the needs of their workers and lead by example.
